It supplements the Terms of Use and applies to platform content, lesson materials, PDFs, images, videos, homework, and related learning resources.

1. AlpacaLingua Materials

UnixBox Corp owns or licenses the platform, software, curriculum, lesson materials, worksheets, PDFs, exercises, images, videos, designs, trademarks, logos, mascot, and related brand assets, unless stated otherwise.

2. Student License

Students receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use AlpacaLingua materials for their own learning. Students may download and print permitted PDFs, complete them, and keep copies of materials already downloaded during an active subscription for personal reference after the subscription ends.

Students may not resell, redistribute, publicly post, bulk copy, hand out to other schools, modify, or use materials outside personal learning without written permission.

3. Teacher Pre-Existing Materials

Materials that a Teacher created before joining AlpacaLingua, and the Teacher’s general skills and methods, remain the Teacher’s property. The Teacher may continue to use these materials outside AlpacaLingua.

4. Teacher Commissioned Materials

Materials that a Teacher creates specifically under a paid commission or work-for-hire arrangement with AlpacaLingua are the property of AlpacaLingua once full payment has been made. The Teacher may use those materials outside AlpacaLingua only with prior written permission.

5. Teacher Uploads and Third-Party Rights

Teachers may not upload, share, or use materials in a lesson unless they have the right to do so. This includes copyrighted books, worksheets, images, videos, and audio owned by third parties.

6. Student Submissions

Students keep ownership of their homework, answers, uploads, messages, and other learning submissions. AlpacaLingua receives a limited license to store, display, review, annotate, and use those submissions to provide teaching, feedback, support, progress tracking, and platform services.

7. Trademarks

You may not use the AlpacaLingua name, logo, mascot, screenshots, trade dress, or branding in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation, resale, or official approval without written permission from AlpacaLingua.

8. Copyright Complaints

A copyright complaint must identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing content, the URL or location on the Service, your contact information, a statement that you own the work or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf, and the requested action. AlpacaLingua may request additional details.

Send complaints to support@alpacalingua.com.

9. Takedowns and Repeat Infringers

AlpacaLingua may remove or restrict allegedly infringing content, notify affected users where appropriate, and suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights.
