1. Scheduling and Timezones

Lesson times are shown using the timezone selected in the account or booking flow. Students are responsible for checking local time, daylight saving changes, calendar settings, and reminders before joining a lesson.

2. Rescheduling and Cancellations

Students may reschedule or cancel only within the rules shown for their plan. The policy should show how many hours of notice are required, how many reschedules are allowed, and what counts as a late cancellation.

3. No-Show and Lateness

A no-show means the student does not join within the teacher waiting period shown by AlpacaLingua or support. If a student is late, the lesson usually still ends at the scheduled time and may not be extended.

4. Teacher Lateness or Cancellation

If a teacher is late, unavailable, or cancels, AlpacaLingua may extend the lesson when practical, reschedule, assign a replacement teacher, provide a lesson credit, or review another appropriate remedy.

5. Technical Problems

Students are responsible for their device, connection, microphone, camera, and meeting setup. If AlpacaLingua, the teacher, or the platform has a technical problem, support may review records and decide whether to reschedule or credit the lesson.

6. Group Classes

Group lessons may continue when some students are absent. If part of the group is missing, the teacher may continue with the attending students and the absent student may be marked absent under the plan rules.

7. Force Majeure and Disputes

Weather, power outages, emergencies, internet failures, or other events outside reasonable control may require support review. AlpacaLingua support may make the final operational decision for disputed scheduling cases.
