1. Safety First
Student safety is a priority. AlpacaLingua expects teachers, staff, students, parents, and guardians to act in a way that protects students and supports a respectful learning environment.
2. Approved Communication Channels
Lesson-related communication should happen through official AlpacaLingua channels or approved tools. Secret communication, private channels that bypass AlpacaLingua, or direct contact that bypasses a parent or guardian is not allowed where it creates risk.
3. Teacher Boundaries
Teachers may not ask students for private phone numbers, home addresses, personal social media, inappropriate photos, gifts, money transfers, or private meetings outside official AlpacaLingua arrangements.
4. Outside-Lesson Contact
Teachers should not arrange in-person meetings, private tutoring, outside payments, or unofficial services with students or parents through AlpacaLingua relationships unless AlpacaLingua has formally approved the arrangement.
5. Reporting Concerns
Parents, students, teachers, and staff should report worrying behavior to support. Reports may involve inappropriate communication, boundary violations, unsafe content, harassment, threats, or any conduct that creates safety concern.
6. Immediate Action
AlpacaLingua may immediately restrict account access, block a teacher from a student, change teacher assignment, pause lessons, preserve records, or escalate the matter when a concern is serious.
7. Review and Authorities
AlpacaLingua may conduct an internal review, protect confidentiality where possible, prohibit retaliation, and contact appropriate authorities when required or when the risk justifies it.
