Student and Parent Code of Conduct
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This Code of Conduct applies to students, parents, guardians, teachers, and users participating in AlpacaLingua lessons, chats, homework, support, or platform features.
The goal is to keep online learning respectful, safe, age-appropriate, and focused.
1. Respectful Communication
Users must communicate respectfully. Discrimination, threats, harassment, insults, sexualized behavior, bullying, intimidation, or abusive language are not allowed in lessons, chat, homework, support messages, or group spaces.
2. Appropriate Lesson Environment
Students should join from a safe and appropriate location, wear suitable clothing, avoid dangerous or inappropriate background content, and behave on camera in a way that supports learning.
3. Privacy and Recordings
Users may not record lessons without permission, publish a teacher or other student, share screenshots, expose private information, or repost lesson content outside AlpacaLingua without authorization.
4. Parent Participation
Parents and guardians may support the student when appropriate, especially for younger learners, but should not disrupt the lesson, pressure the teacher, or communicate in a way that violates this Code.
5. Contacts and Group Chats
Users should use approved AlpacaLingua channels. Teachers and students should not exchange private contact details, move communication outside the platform, or contact minors in a way that bypasses a parent or AlpacaLingua.
6. Acceptable Use
Users may not hack, scrape, upload malware, impersonate others, share passwords, create multiple trial accounts, commit fraud, abuse chargebacks, upload illegal content, infringe copyright, resell materials, or use the platform to advertise other services.
7. Consequences
Violations may result in a warning, removal from a lesson, loss of chat access, suspension, termination, refund denial where allowed, or immediate safety action for serious misconduct.
8. Reporting
Students, parents, teachers, and staff should report violations to AlpacaLingua support with relevant lesson details, screenshots, messages, or other information that helps review the issue.
